Peter Makadi believes that feeling exclusive in dealing with mental health issues and life challenges could be overwhelming. He understands that an effective psychotherapist uses a collaborative approach where a counselor and a counselee empathetically walk through the healing path for client’s pains in an atmosphere of respect. Peter provides an inclusive and holistic therapeutic environment where the client’s beliefs, culture, spirituality concerns are integrated into a clinical counseling process.
Dr. Makadi’s counselling and treatment experience range from domestic violence, anger management, marriages issues – pre-marital, divorce, re-marriage, steps to knowing God’s leading in marriage – stress, anxiety, depression, dealing with difficult children, lying, deviant, opposition, addiction, grief, and fear. Makadi is a good listener, very empathetic, non-judgmental, solution focused and sensitive to culture-infused counselling.
Makadi has many years of work experience in the fields of teaching, guidance, mediation, conflict management, crisis management, and counseling.
